2010 Viberti Bricco Delle Viole Barolo Riserva

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark brick red hue. Pronounced aromatics of dark cherries, earthy dark chocolate and new leather blossom from the glass followed by dried herb and spice notes. Chewy in its feel the medium weighted palate features dark, dried and Morello cherry flavours which are infused with earthy leather characters, old cedar and spicy dried herbs. Tightening up the dry finish are grippy tannins. Good richness and depth with a chewy conclusion of spicy dark cherries, earthy leather characters, old cedar and dried herbs. Despite the grippy feel there’s still plenty of savouriness to this Barolo.
