2010 Tscharke [600 x 106] Marananga Syrah

Opaque black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. The nose shows top notes of black plum and liquorice followed by some confectionary and blackpepper. Quite elegant for a Barossa Shiraz the palate delivers flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by some meaty earth like blackpepper characters on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of black plum, liquorice and meaty blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
