The fruit for this wine is sourced from Eden Valley (16%) and Barossa Valley (84%) with maturation taking place in seasoned French oak for 18 months.

Outstanding totally opaque black dark purple colour with black purple red hue. On the nose lifted blackberry and liquorice aromas arise from the glass along with some dark plum, dark chocolate and spice notes. Rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fill the palate in opulent fashion followed by underlying vanillin toast like characters and spice on the back palate. Good structure with velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberry, dark plum, toast and spice.
