The success of the Factor relies on ultra-careful fruit selection from old vines in Marananga, Greenock, Krondorf, Gomersal & Ebenezer. The parcels are selected for their individual qualities and matured separately in both new and old French barriques.

‘Slippery in texture with incredible power and richness, this Majestic wine is Hedonistic Paradise’

Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep black crimson red hue. The nose possesses superb intensity with aromas of dark plum, liquorice and dark chocolate wafting from the glass in decadent fashion with trailing scents of black cherries, vanillin oak and spice. Dense and lavishly rich the palate boasts super concentrated flavours of dark plums, blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate over some vanillin oak and spice. Outstanding power and depth. Plush voluptuous texture with polished silky smooth tannins. Exceptionally long ripe dark plum, blackberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy oak aftertaste.

Other Reviews….
Deep garnet-purple colour and a 100% Shiraz wine aged in predominately older oak, the 2010 The Factor reveals a stunningly beautiful nose of creme de cassis, plum pudding and blackberry coulis with intriguing flourishes of licorice, dark chocolate, cloves and peppered salami. Big and voluptuously fruited in the full bodied mouth, this is a full-on, complex Shiraz possessing a great foundation of firm, rounded tannins and an energised acid backbone to bring everything to a finish with outstanding length and harmony. Approachable now, it should drink best 2016 to 2028+.
