This is a delicious lighter style red that nonetheless delivers plenty of flavour.

Aged in French oak for 10 months. Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed dark cherry, dark plum and anise aromas are followed by some toasty oak and spice. Light to medium weight the palate has excellent flavour intensity and power with ripe dark cherries and dark plum supported by some toasty anise characters and a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with long dark cherry, dark plum & spicy oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
Alc 13.5%
