2010 The Graillot Project No. 2 Syrah

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with deep purple crimson red hue. Aromas of blackberry, toasty oak, meaty characters and earthy mineral. Medium weight the palate is a touch lean and lacks depth with flavours of blackberry, dried meats and mineral. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of blackberry, mineral and dried meats. A very elegant take on Heathcote Shiraz.
Cellar 3-4 years.
