2010 The Edge Pinot Noir

The Edge Pinot Noir is produced and bottled by Larry McKenna of Escarpment Vineyard. Showing excellent depth this Pinot displays a deep dark crimson red colour with a dark crimson red mauve hue. The nose is quite perfumed with aromas of violets, dark cherries, dark plum and a touch of anise. Medium bodied the palate is quite full and fleshy displaying a generous flavour profile of dark cherry, dark plum, light anise and spice. Very soft fine grained tannins. Good power wave with long aftertaste of dark cherry, plum and spicy cedar.
Drink this delicious fuller, riper styled Pinot Noir over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014)
