2010 Sons Of Eden Zephyrus Shiraz

A blend of 97% Shiraz with 3% Viognier co-fermented and matured for 16 months in new and used oak. Totally opaque black purple colour with very deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays lifted scents of liquorice allsorts, ripe blackberry and confectionary followed by some vanillin overtones. Bold rich palate flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by a touch of confectionary and a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins showing perfect integration. Long liquorice, ripe blackberry, confectionary and spice aftertaste.
