2010 Schild Estate Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak.Opaque black dark red colour with deep dark red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, mulberry and spice. Full bodied, very generous and rich, the palate delivers a flavour profile very much at the darker end of the spectrum that is typically associated with Barossa Cabernet. Mouthfilling flavours of cassis, dark chocolate and liquorice with some underlying cedar. Velvet smooth tannin structure. Good length with aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014).
