2010 Sangreal By Farr Pinot Noir

Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose is not as quite as immediately lifted as the Farrside slowly building in intensity as it warms up to revel scents of dark cherries, some smoky game like characters, dried meats and spicy cedar. The palate possesses superb richness but is a touch more masculine in structure in comparison to the Farrside. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries, dark plum, some spicy clove and meaty characters followed by some spicy cedar on the back palate. Very fine grained tannins, almost velvet like. Excellent power wave with long dark cherry, dried meats, cedar and spice aftertaste.
