2010 S. C. Pannell Grenache Shiraz

Aged in predominately old French oak puncheons for 18 months. Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple hue. The nose reveals ripe dark raspberry top notes followed by some liquorice, dark plum, subtle meatiness and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses an abundance of fleshy succulent black raspberry flavours which are followed by some dark plum, blackberry, liquorice and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannin structure. Long black raspberry, liquorice, blackberry and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
