Cellar: 5 - 6 Years (2020-2021)

Semi translucent and a slightly brighter dark red than the 2011 with a dark red hue. Aromas of fresh dark cherries, plum and subtle rose notes are followed by some cedar, faint earthy leather and spice. Medium bodied with better balance between the fruit, acid and tannin components in comparison to the 2011, it features a supple mid palate with flavours of dark cherries, plum and earth followed by some cedar, new leather and spicy tobacco. Dry finish with fine grained tannins and a line of fresh acidity all perfectly balanced. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, plum, earthy cedar, leather, light tobacco and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 14.5%

Other reviews....
Aromas and flavors of dried berry, chocolate, peach and prunes follow through to a full body, with velvety tannins and a dried-fruit finish. Drink or hold. Very ripe fruit character.
