2010 Prunotto Barbera d'Alba

Deep dark red purple colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherries intermixed with some earth followed by some subtle emerging leather and some spice as end notes. Medium weight and quite elegant the palate has flavours of dark cherries and dark plum followed by some cedar, subtle earth and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, cedar and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
