Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light dark red hue. Scents of dark cherries, some gamey dried meat like characters, toasty oak and spice emerge from the glass. Light to medium weight the palate has good power with flavours of dark ripe cherries, meaty characters, a touch of earthy cedar and a very spicy finish. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, meaty earth like characters and spice.
