2010 Pooley Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Lifted dark cherry scents are to the fore followed by some toasty cedar, meaty characters and spice. Light to medium weight the palate displays an excellent power wave with flavours of dark cherries, dark strawberries, subtle light toasty cedar, dried meats and spice. Velvet smooth tannins in conjunction with the luscious fruit give the wine a supple mouthfeel. Excellent length with long dark cherry, dark strawberry, meaty cedar and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2012-2015).
