Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Top notes of violets are intermixed with ripe dark cherries followed by nuances of dried herbs, earth and spicy cedar. Elegant and richly flavoured the palate features tremendous depth with very savoury flavours of ripe dark cherries and plum overlaying a background of spicy cedar, some earthiness and subtle leather. Dryish finish with very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Exceptionally long and savoury aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, cedar, earth and subtle leather.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews….
A beautifully balanced and subtle Brunello with plum, berry, spice and fresh mahogany character. Full to medium body, fine tannins and a long finish. Very intense and harmonious. This is always a beauty. Drink or hold.
