2010 Pikes Eastside Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple black hue. The nose displays pronounced aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice followed by some vanillin confectionary and a touch of spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich ripe flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum followed by a touch of vanilla with a spicy peppery back palate. Solid but fine grained tannins lend good supportive structure. Long aftertaste of liquorice, black plum, blackberry and blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
