Opaque black dark crimson red colour with dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe blackberry, very ripe dark plum, a touch of liquorice and spice. Full bodied the palate delivers ripe voluptuous flavours of ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice followed by some toasty vanillin oak. Velvet smooth tannins. Good length with long liquorice, dark plum and toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
