Aged for nearly two years in French oak barriques. Opaque dark purple black crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red purple hue. The nose displays youthful blackcurrant and liquorice top notes followed by some earthy cedar and spearmint. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses generous ripe blackcurrant fruit followed by some dark chocolate, cedar and mint. Velvet smooth perfectly integrated tannins. Long blackcurrant, choc mint and cedar aftertaste.
