2010 Pegasus Bay Merlot Cabernet

Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a dark brick red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and black olives tie into some scorched earth, stewed mulberries and spice notes. Medium bodied the palate has good up front richness with ripe blackcurrants and dark mulberries intermingling with black olives and scorched earth over some spicy cedar and a touch of leather. Dryish finish with earthy, slightly bitter tannins. Aftertaste of earthy black olives, blackcurrant, scorched cedar and spicy leather.
