2010 Paringa Estate PE Pinot Noir

Lindsay McCall's entry level offering lacks none of his trade mark precision. Harvested over ten separate passes from leased and contract Peninsula vineyards, the Paringa PE Pinots are, according to James Halliday "... often equal to many other vineyard's best."

Semi translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose is quite perfumed with aromas of dark cherry, violets, a hint of anise and spice. Light to medium weight the palate delivers generous flavours of dark cherry, ripe strawberry, anise and spice. Very fine grained tannins showing perfect balance. Excellent power wave with long aftertaste of dark cherry, strawberry and spicy anise.
Drink over the next 2-3 years (2011-2014)
