2010 Narkoojee Lily Grace Chardonnay

Winemaker Harry Friend continues to excel with his Chardonnay’s and since our initial tasting some 6 months ago this wine has ratched the quality level up a couple more notches.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and watery hue. The nose exhibits good intensity with aromas of white peach followed by some cashew, honeycombe and spicy oak. The palate has filled out delivering mouthfilling flavours of white peach, cashew and honeycombe, a touch of nougat and spice. Clean dry finish and quite creamy in texture. Long aftertaste of white peach, spice, light honeycombe and cashew.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015)
