2010 Mule Gateway Vineyard Sangiovese

Very deep dark red colour with dark crimson red hue. The nose is quite perfumed with scents of violets, dark cherries, cedar, a touch of earth and spice. The palate has generous dark cherry and plum flavours in a medium weight style followed by some spicy earth and toasty cedar like characters. Very fine grained well integrated tannins. Medium to long dark cherry, dark plum, earth and spicy cedar aftertaste.
