Brilliant pale straw colour with slight greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. Lifted white peach aromas are to the fore followed by some cashew, nougat, toasty oak and spice. Full bodied, rich and creamy the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of ripe white peach, nougat and cashew followed by some subtle toasty oak and spice. Excellent concentration and depth with a clean dry finish. Long aftertaste of ripe white peach, cashew, nougat and spice.

Other Reviews...
Gleaming green-gold; a blend of four clones fermented in French barriques (50% new), with mlf and lees contact following for nine months in barrel; it has an intensely structured and textured palate, white peach, grilled cashew and some grapefruit on the farewell; the oak has simply disappeared into the wine, which has a long future ahead. Placed first by Andrew Jefford in a major chardonnay tasting in the UK for The World of Fine Wine magazine. Drink by 2020.
