2010 Moorooroo Limited Release Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black dark red colour with a very deep dark red black hue. The nose opens with a strong charry oak and scorched earth top note followed by clove, faint liquorice and spice. The palate has some initial fruit sweetness but is then swamped by charry oak, clove and scorched earth with some spice also present on the bitey finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of charry oak, clove, scorched earth and spice. Pass. A charcoal bomb.
