2010 Moorooduc Estate Pinot Noir

This Pinot Noir received 15 months French oak maturation of which 30% was new. Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays lifted scents of dark cherry and violets followed by some toasty oak, anise and spice. Light to medium weight the palate delivers spicy dark cherry flavours, strawberry, anise and toast. Very spicy back palate. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, strawberry, toasty oak and anise.
Cellar 3-4 years (2015-2016).
