2010 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot

A very big, ripe, flamboyantly styled Merlot.
Opaque black dark crimson red colour with deep dark crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe plum, aniseed, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Thick and rich the palate is packed with loads of opulent ripe fruit. Mouthfilling flavours at the very dark end of the spectrum – black cherry, dark plum and dark chocolate are followed by some vanillin characters. Soft very fine grained tannins combine with a voluptuous texture. Long ripe dark plum, dark chocolate and vanillin spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015)
