2010 Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz

A big, rich, exuberant Blue Eyed Boy.
Totally opaque inky black colour with very deep black purple hue showing excellent glass cling. The nose displays an intense aromatic profile of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some vanillin confectionary characters and toast. The palate boasts blockbuster levels of ripe opulent fruit with flavours of super ripe blackberry, liquorice, vanilla and spice with a toasty overlay. Magnificent concentration and length along with a lush texture. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins with long rich blackberry, liquorice, spice and toasty vanillin oak aftertaste.
