2010 Mitchelton Heathcote Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with deep very dark crimson red hue. Good perfumed lift with aromas of liquorice, blackberry, toasty vanillin oak and spice emanating from the glass. Medium to full bodied the palate delivers generous flavours of ripe blackberry and spice with a toasty overlay and peppery back palate. Dryish finish with solid, firm but balanced tannin structure. Medium to long blackberry, blackpepper and toasty spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
