Totally opaque inky black purple colour with very deep black purple hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe blackberry, dark plum, liquorice and spice. Richly textured and very generously flavoured the palate delivers mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry and dark plum followed by liquorice with some pepper and spice on the back palate. Velvet smooth well integrated tannins. Excellent depth with long blackberry, liquorice, pepper and spice aftertaste. A plush and fleshy McLaren Vale Shiraz with a delightful peppery finish.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).

Other Reviews.....
Has ripe black fruits, elements of char and tar, and a fresh and vibrant personality, with lots of energy; unencumbered by heavy handed winemaking, this is sure to please. Drink by 2020. 14.5% Alc/Vol
