2010 Maude Pinot Noir

Semi translucent deep dark crimson red colour with dark crimson hue. The nose exhibits good perfumed lift with scents of violets, dark cherry and dark plum intermixed with some anise followed by some spicy cedar end notes. Medium bodied the palate possesses an abundance of power and richness with dark ripe cherry and dark plum flavours followed by some spicy anise and cedar. Superb depth. Soft velvet smooth tannins with very long persistent aftertaste of dark ripe cherry, dark plum, anise and spicy cedar.
