2010 Louis de Castella Wines Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque youthful black purple colour with black purple hue. The nose displays excellent aromatic lift with scents of dark ripe blackberry, plum and liquorice followed by a hint of vanillin confectionary and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses plenty of ripe plush fruit with flavours of ripe blackberry and dark plum dominate followed by some liquorice and spice. Very fine grained beautifully integrated tannins. Long blackberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2015-2016).
