Opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. The nose exhibits lifted aniseed scents followed by stewed plum, liquorice and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses dark stewed plum fruit flavours followed by some aniseed, cedar and spice. Soft fine grained tannins with aftertaste of stewed plum, aniseed and spice.
