Opaque dark purple red colour with purple crimson hue. The nose offers up scents of ripe dark cherries intermixed with some blackcurrant followed by some earth and spicy cedar. Medium weight the palate delivers generous blackcurrant flavours overlaid with some earth, cedar and spice. Dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, earthy cedar and spice aftertaste.
