2010 Kilikanoon Oracle Shiraz

Matured for 24 months in small French oak casks. Outstanding totally opaque inky black core with very deep dark purple hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice and blackberry followed by some confectionary, toasty oak and spice. Rich and bold the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberry over some confectionary and subtle toasty oak with a spicy finish. Dryish, solid but very fine grained tannins provide an excellent framework. Superb concentration and persistence with very long liquorice, ripe blackberry, subtle toasty vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
