2010 Jones Winery & Vineyard Shiraz

The colour is relatively light for a Rutherglen red – deep dark crimson red colour with semi translucent crimson red hue. The nose has aromas of dark cherries, liquorice, toast and some spice. Light to medium weight palate barely resembling the traditional ‘three course meal with cigar included’ Rutherglen reds with somewhat dilute flavours of blackberry, liquorice, toast and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of dark cherry, liquorice and toast.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
