2010 Ivybrook Farm Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a very deep black dark purple hue. The nose displays pronounced aromas of ripe black cherries, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some vanillin oak and spice. Rich and dense the palate boasts opulent flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark chocolate over a background of toasty vanillin oak with a spicy finish. Solid but almost velvet like tannins provide the framework. Long aftertaste of ripe blackberries, chocolate bullets and spicy vanillin cedar.
