This Pinot has been produced from a blend of all three Hurley vineyards – Lodestone, Hommage and Garamond. Matured in French oak casks of which one third was new for a period of 18 months and then bottled without fining or filtration.

Translucent bright crimson red colour with crimson red hue. The nose exhibits lifted ripe dark cherry, strawberry and gamey meat like characters followed by some spicy cedar. Light to medium weight, yet with plenty of depth and power the palate possesses good richness and a soft round mouthfeel with flavours of ripe dark cherry, strawberry, some gamey characters and spicy cedar. Velvet smooth tannins with very long ripe dark cherry, game and spicy cedar aftertaste.
