2010 Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with dark red hue. The nose displays impressive aromatic lift with scents of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and a touch of anise followed by some gamey meat like notes, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate possesses a good power wave with ripe dark cherry and plum flavours to the fore overlaying some meaty cedar like characters with a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with long ripe dark cherry, gamey meats and spicy cedar aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
