2010 Hollick Ravenswood Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 18 months in new French oak. Totally opaque midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackcurrants are interwoven with some liquorice, cedar, bay leaf, faint tobacco and spice end notes. The palate is dominated by powerful rich blackcurrant flavours with underlying liquorice, cedary cigar box, subtle bay leaf and spice following. Solid firmly built but fine grained tannins. Excellent depth with a long blackcurrant, cedar, light tobacco and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
