2010 Heggies Chardonnay

Matured for 11 months in French oak. Brilliant very pale colour with faint greenish tinge around the edges and watery hue. The nose displays aromas of white peach, light nougat, spice and cashew. Medium bodied the palate delivers flavours of cashew, white peach and spice followed by a hint of nougat with some hazelnut characters on the back palate. Dry finish and possessing a creamy like mouthfeel. Medium to long aftertaste of delicate white peach, cashew, spice and hazelnut. An elegant old world Burgundian style of Chardonnay.
Cellar 2-3 years (2013-2014).
