2010 Harewood Estate Shiraz Cabernet

Matured in a combination of French and American oak barriques this red displays an opaque dark purple colour with deep purple dark red hue. Meaty blackpepper aromas are to the fore followed by some liquorice, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate possesses good concentration and depth with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant and liquorice followed by some meaty blackpepper characters on the back palate. Slightly dryish but very fine grained tannins with long blackberry, liquorice, blackpepper and meaty spice aftertaste.
Cellar 5-6 years.
