2010 Hamelin Bay Five Ashes Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose displays excellent aromatic lift with scents of blackcurrant, black olive and cedary tobacco emanating from the glass followed by some spice and very light earth notes. Medium to full bodied the palate features a rich flavour profile of ripe blackcurrants, a touch of black olives, cedar, tobacco and spice. The palate structure is slightly dryish with a sense of firmness about it yet the tannins are still fine grained. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, cedary cigar box and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
