2010 Gioiello Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques for 12 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with some greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Delicate aromas of citrus and fresh white peach are followed by some cashew and a faint hint of nougat as an end note. Medium weight the palate has flavours of ripe peach and nougat followed by some citrus with light cashew and spice on the back palate. Creamy mouthfeel with a dry finish. Aftertaste of ripe peach, nougat and cashew.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
