A blend of 42% Barossa Merlot, 9% Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Adelaide Hills Merlot and 4% Fleurieu Merlot. Opaque black purple colour with dark purple hue. The nose displays a perfumed bouquet of dark plum, liquorice, some subtle toasty vanillin oak and spice. Quite full bodied and rich for Merlot the palate delivers opulent flavours of dark ripe plum, dark chocolate, subtle black cherry, cedar and spice. Soft plush texture with a velvet smooth tannin structure. Long rich ripe dark plum, dark chocolate, cedar and spice aftertaste.
