2010 Fox Creek JSM Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc

Totally opaque black crimson red colour with dark crimson red black hue. The nose shows good lift with scents of ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate followed by some vanillin oak mocha like characters and subtle earth notes. Full bodied the palate possesses rich succulent flavours of blackberry, dark chocolate and liquorice followed by some mocha and vanillin oak. The Cabernet component adds some structure to the wine but the tannins are still velvet smooth. Excellent length with long dark chocolate, blackberry and vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
