2010 Fattoria Zerbina Torre di Ceparano Sangiovese

Very deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. The nose throws up aromatics of dark cherries overlaid by leather and earthy cedar with spice end notes. Light to medium weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries intermixed with earth, leather and cedar with a dry spicy finish. Slightly chalky tannins with an aftertaste of spicy earth, dark cherries and leather.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
