2010 Farr Rising Shiraz

Relatively light in colour displaying a semi translucent dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Perfumed nose with aromas of violets and dark cherries followed by some toasty clove like characters and spice. Medium weight the palate is very elegant and much lighter than what is normally associated with Australian Shiraz. Flavours of ripe dark cherries and plums are followed by some clove and spice characters. Velvet smooth tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, plum, clove and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017).
