2010 Famille Perrin Reserve Cotes du Rhone

A Grenache, Syrah & Mourvedre blend. Deep dark red colour with crimson red hue. The nose provides scents of dark ripe raspberry which are to the fore followed by some dark plum juice, meaty earth like characters and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is quite joosy with ripe dark raspberry and dark plum flavours followed by some meatiness and spicy pepper. Dryish finish with very fine grained soft tannins. Aftertaste of dark raspberry, dried meats and spicy pepper.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
