Larry McKenna has been at the forefront of the Kiwi Pinot Noir explosion for some time, acting as consultant, adviser and wine maker to many projects including Martinborough Vineyards and Yabby Lake back here in Australia.

Aged in French oak barriques of which 30% were new for 11 months. Excellent depth with deep dark crimson red colour and dark crimson red hue. The nose displays perfumed scents of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and aniseed followed by some lightly toasted cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate is very generous and fleshy in texture with mouthfilling flavours of ripe dark cherries, dark plum, a touch of anise with some underlying toast and spice characters. Velvet smooth tannins. Long dark cherry, ripe dark plum, anise and toasty spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2016-2017)
